Does your 520 have open transport installed? It could just be missing the proper libraries, or maybe just a version number. You could also use ResEdit to change the version number of your system to 7. ...

Hmm.. this might make for an interesting episode of House or Grey's Anatomy... hehe

Hooking up the Mac's ATA drive to your Windows XP machine should work, although I can not say for sure the drive ...
