Radeon 7000 is a very powerful card. My newly acquired 5400 with a 400Mhz Sonnet card is a very powerful computer. I want to combine these things INTERNALLY without cables or unsightly holes to get the internal CRT driven by the Radeon 7000.

Stay Tuned.

Sounds like a great project, looking forward to your updates. If it works, perhaps I'll consider it for my 5500...

I saw elsewhere that you are planning on using the TV tuner card in your 5400 or 5500. If so, don't waste your time with this mod. The PCI bus is too slow to shuttle all of the video data to the 7000 fast enough. You'll get extremely choppy video.

A guy on did the same thing with his G3 AIO.

Cannot wait to see how yours turns out.

I am definetely looking forward to it. JoAT is probably right about the video capture though. Of course, the 400mhz G3 upgrade may help this a bit.

The video capture feature is WAY down the list on things that need to get done for this computer. But the internal video card is PCI too isnt it? So What's the difference between the onboard PCI video card and the R7000 PCI video card?
