Wellp, in System 7 style, there are no fancy features here like avatars and signatures to cause problems.

Simple rules apply here. They were learned the hard way, which is why this forum is the way it is and actually is very good. chatting off topic is not welcome if it happens, they can get locked. start a new topic and stay on topic. If you want to bs, go to the off topic forum. I have all the experience in what not to do, any questions, just ask. Welcome and be prepared to learn alot.

Thanks for the reply.
Chatting off topic? How do you know when you are off topic?
Who can get "locked" and what does that mean?
What is bs? Talking bout the kids or your new whatsit?

It's a long story. Basically, try to stay on topic in the on-topic areas. Threads that start drifting off to unrelated topics will be locked, for the sake of organization start new threads when you want to discuss new topics!
And keep anything that has nohting to do with Mac OS 7 in the off-topic area. In the original version of this site, there was no working search engine, so these rules were really important to stick to. It isn't so strict now that we have search.
