I have an old PowerMac 7200/120 PC. It's been dormant for a long time. It was running system 7, probably 7.6.

I recently dug it out and tried to boot it up. It powered up, but after a delay it flashed the disk icon with a question mark on it.

I'd like to boot it up and see if anything survived on the hard drive, but i don't appear to have any boot or utility disks to boot from.

I have a current macbookpro, and am looking for a way to create a bootable CD-ROM (i have no access to a mac floppy drive).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The highest you can download for free from Apple is 7.5.3 install diskettes plus 7.5.5 update diskettes. Unfortunately 7.6.x is not in the public domain.
