I've never came close to maxing out the ram on my 1400. 64mb is good enough for what can be done on a 1400. I run photoshop, appleworks, I have a screenwriting program, illustrator. I used photoshop 5.0 up until june 05 when I upgraded from an imac 400mhz to a mini. Just had to upgrade. I figure it will be another 10 years before I upgrade from that. The 1400 is really easy to work with once you do it the first time. I can tear one of mine apart and get it back together in less than a half hour. Upgrades are easy. So that's my recomendation.

Hmm... I still think a 1400 and a 3400 are the way to go lol. I liked the 3400 and for some reason want another as well.

I have a few idea's with my skills ocing to try on one.

Anyway I am watching a fgew upgrades and 1400's as well as a 3400 on eBay. Maybe I will end up with one but I Def. Pref to trade.

I was thinking of a 3400 with a 180mhz and going with the MB you mentioned you had and trading parts with you if you do not mind.
